"Nampeyo"

(2014 Faulkner) --diploid
Height 28"---3-way branching with 16 buds 4.5" flower with creamy orange/pink background and a large purple/pink patterned eye etched irregularly in red giving a lightening bolt effect. Named for a very famous later 19th century Hopi Indian lady who single- handedly changed the face of pattery in her tribe. She was a visionary and her works today demand the highest prices for pottery. Mainly done in earth tones, the flower is a tribute to the vision of this woman.
